What: Project Management is a deep dive into good project management practices. This 4-session online course will cover essential tasks during the construction process, including regular project meetings, documented change orders, regular updates to the schedule, tracking project costs against the estimate, and close-out meetings with the client and your team. This course includes hands-on exercises, tools, and templates to support emerging project managers.

Who: This course is designed for emerging project managers who are new to their roles or are looking to improve their internal systems.

Why: Successful residential construction projects require good project management skills. Many people with deep experience in the field who become project managers have not been taught these core skills. Developing strong project management systems, along with well-defined roles and responsibilities, can create a more resilient construction company.

Format

Online via Zoom. Sessions are recorded and available for review, but attending all sessions in real time is required.

Registration

$700 per person. 10% off for multiple registrations from one company.

    Refunds: We offer a 100% refund up to 72 hours prior to course start time. After that no refunds are available; we will credit your registration fee towards another HELM course.

Tia has 30 years of construction experience, with over 20 years as supervisor, self-employed general contractor, and project manager. She is a Passive House U.S. Certified Builder and is a Certified Integrative Life Coach through Integrative Wellness Academy.
