Please join us Saturday, September 23rd, 2023 for the second annual HELM Hike*-a-thon to benefit our Solidarity Scholarship Fund.
The Solidarity Scholarships allow HELM to provide free or discounted consulting and training to BIPOC, LGBTQIA, and women-owned construction and design companies. These communities are underrepresented in our industry and traditionally have less access to business consulting services and training opportunities. We want and need their leadership in our building community!
Supporting Minority and Women Business Enterprises in Massachusetts
BuildingEnergy Access will combine professional services from HELM (training, consulting, and professional coaching) with participation in a peer network cohort (BE Bottom Lines) and NESEA programs in Massachusetts over a three-year period, at no cost to participants.
2023 Hike*-A-Thon
We want to send a big thanks to everyone who participated in our Hike*-A-Thon in September. Together we raised over $5,000 for Solidarity Scholarships from more than 30 donors.
HELM’s New Just Label
We are proud to announce that HELM has renewed our Just label. Created by the International Living Future Institute, the Just program is a voluntary disclosure tool for organizations to elevate internal discussions, policies, and procedures and create a common language and measurement framework for social justice issues. Just is a call to action, and HELM is committed to being a more transparent, equitable, and socially just organization.

Compensation Survey Results Are In!
HELM organized a Design & Construction Industry Compensation Survey last year, and 50 companies from the Northeast responded. This survey was an update to a similar survey conducted in 2018. Thank you to everyone who participated in the survey and was willing to share this basic information about their business.
